Chile's Torres del Paine & Atacama Desert
Spectacular Highlights of Chile's National Park & Desert Region
Torres del Paine is a stunning national park located in southern Chile. It’s known for its rugged landscapes, glaciers, and turquoise lakes. Opt to go hiking and/or wildlife watching. The park is also home to the Grey Glacier and the three granite peaks that give the park its name. Torres del Paine is a must-visit destination for nature lovers and adventure seekers alike.
The Atacama Desert, located in northern Chile, is the driest non-polar desert in the world. Despite its harsh conditions, it’s a popular tourist destination because of its otherworldly landscapes and unique geological formations. We will explore the Valle de la Luna, a moon-like landscape of salt flats and rocky formations, and visit the Tatio Geysers, a geothermal field with over 80 active geysers. The Atacama Desert is also a prime location for stargazing, with its clear skies and lack of light pollution providing an unparalleled view of the night sky. A trip to the Atacama Desert is a truly unforgettable experience.
Our accommodations are at Explora lodges in in both locations. These lodges provide a luxurious and comfortable experience for travelers to the parks. The lodges offer high-end amenities, knowledgeable guides, and customized itineraries that cater to each guest’s interests and preferences.
