November is one of the most pleasant times to visit Mexico City and Oaxaca, with generally mild, dry weather and comfortable temperatures throughout the journey. Days are typically warm and sunny, while mornings and evenings — particularly in Mexico City and Oaxaca's higher elevations — can feel cool.
We recommend lightweight layers, including breathable daytime clothing paired with a light sweater or jacket for cooler evenings. Comfortable walking shoes are essential, as many excursions involve cobblestone streets, markets, museums, and archaeological sites such as Teotihuacán.
Coda Tours are always casual, so there is no need for jackets or ties. Comfortable, relaxed clothing is perfectly appropriate.
For most travelers visiting from the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, and many European countries, no tourist visa is currently required for Mexico for stays under 180 days. Travelers must carry a valid passport with adequate validity remaining beyond their travel dates. Entry requirements are subject to change, so we recommend confirming current regulations with your local Mexican consulate prior to departure.
At this time, no special vaccinations are required for
travel to Mexico City and Oaxaca. The CDC recommends
travelers be up to date on routine vaccinations, and some
travelers may consider Hepatitis A and Typhoid vaccinations
as an added precaution for international travel. As always,
guests should consult their physician or travel clinic
regarding personal health recommendations prior to
departure.
We have a minimum of 6 travelers to have a Coda representative on the trip.
